CMTIC TiO2 – Grey Grade is specially developed for use in paints, coatings, plastics, and construction chemical applications covering a wide range of Grey and dark neutral colour shades, including Light Grey shades used in coil backing coats and powder coating applications. This product, being Grey in colour, can be used as a partial replacement for White TiO2 and conventional colour pigments across multiple RAL shades, including the RAL 7000-7046 and RAL 8000-8004 series. Its ability to deliver consistent colour performance along with formulation cost optimisation makes it well suited for cost-sensitive pigment applications.
Besides conventional coating applications, CMTIC TiO2 – Grey Grade is also suitable for solar-reflective paint formulations, where it can partially replace carbon black in the system. This substitution helps reduce infra-red heat absorption from sunlight, thereby lowering heat build-up on the coated substrate and contributing to improved thermal management.
