Synthetic Rutile

Superior quality Synthetic Rutile produced by us is used as titanium feed stock for production of Titanium Sponge and Titanium metal. Since titanium metal has excellent properties like high strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, withstanding high temperature, inert property etc., it is used in a variety of applications ranging from aerospace application, chemical, metallurgical, electrical and electronic hardware, nuclear and biomedical sectors.

Hi-tech titanium alloys are used in aeroplanes, rockets, satellites, automobiles, heat exchangers, mobile phones, various other electronic products, medical and dental implants etc.

Synthetic Rutile with lower percentage of TiO₂ is used for manufacturing Titanium Dioxide pigment which is used for production of paints and coatings, specialty chemicals, plastics, paper, textile, ink, cosmetics, toothpaste, pharmaceuticals etc. It is also used as flux component for welding electrode and as abrasives.
